Westerly Rhode Island Restaurants

Here are some of our favorite restaurants in Westerly.

Breakfast / Brunch

The Cooked Goose

The Langevin Family’s favorite breakfast and brunch spot. The Cooked Goose has a relaxed atmosphere, like a relative’s country kitchen. Their breakfast items are delicious but be sure to leave room for the lobster roll. The Cooked Goose also offers a variety of meals and salads that can be taken back to the house.

Lunch and Dinner

The Up River Cafe

Located in the center of Westerly, The Up River Cafe is a beautiful restaurant with excellent food, without the pretension. It’s right on the canal, so you can enjoy cocktails and a meal out by the water.

The Venice Restaurant

This is a family favorite of ours. The Venice Restaurant is located about a quarter of a mile from the house on route 1A. The restaurant serves classic Italian fare and some upscale American favorites.

Shelter Harbor Inn

The Shelter Harbor Inn is a historic inn that serves incredible lunch and dinner. The back room overlooks the Inn’s stunning grounds. A meal at the Shelter Harbor Inn is an incredible treat for anyone.

Andrea Hotel

When it’s time for dinner and cocktails on the beach, the Andrea Hotel is the place to be. The Andrea has events every weekend and it’s a great place to pull up a few chairs on their patio, order a few drinks and appetizers, and watch the waves crash.

Prime Time Cafe

The Prime Time Cafe is an eccentric little restaurant located in the heart of Westerly center. The food is well prepared and the service is excellent.

Vetranos Restaurant

Vetranos Restaurant is by far the best pizza in Westerly! And we know our pizza!

Fra’s Italian Deli

Fra’s Italian Deli is a little place on the corner of Shore Road and Crandal Ave. Fra’s is the perfect place to stop on your way down to the beach to pick up a freshly made foccacia sandwich and a couple of giant chocolate chip cookies. They don’t have a website but can be reached at 401-596-2888.
